Please note: Due to an unforeseen technical issue, Conference attendees wishing to participate in the Cultural Field Seminar must complete the registration/payment process twice: once for the Conference and once for the Field Seminar.
Important Dates:
Conference Registration:
To allow for greater travel flexibility for Conference attendees, two Conference registration tiers will be available, depending on your travel plans and participation in the Cultural Field Seminar:
- 590 Euros (approximately 620 USD) if you will be returning to Paris on the evening of May 21, or if you will be participating in the Field Seminar.
- 690 euros (approximately 730 USD) if you will not be participating in the cultural field seminar, but prefer to stay en extra night in Tours due to your travel plans.
Conference Registration fees cover:
- 3 nights accommodation (May 18, 19, & 20) (and the night of May 21 for those wishing to stay in Tours with the 4-night option)
- Transportation within Tours, to and from Conference venues and cultural activities
- All meals from breakfast, Monday, May 19 through a cheese tasting in the early evening on Wednesday, May 21.
- All conference activities and materials.
Conference Grants:
A limited number of conference grants are available. Conference grants cover the entire registration fee. They do not cover airfare or attending the Cultural Field Seminar. Preference will be given to instructors, technology support and coordinators currently participating in GPE programming. To apply for a conference grant, please submit the application form to GPEinfo@ecu.edu by April 4, 2025.
Non-Participating Guests:
The basis for room occupancy is two people, therefore no additional charge for a guest accompanying a conference participant. Meals and cultural activities for non-participating guests must be paid independently directly to the vendors. We will contact Registrants for details regarding additional meal reservations at a later date.
Cultural Field Seminar:
Likewise, Two Cultural Field Seminar tiers will be available, depending on your travel plans:
- 465 Euros (approximately 490 USD) if you intend to return to Paris on the evening of May 23
- 570 Euros (approximately 600 USD) if you will be leaving Tours on Saturday May 24
Cultural Field Seminar fees cover
- 3 nights accommodation (May 21, 22, and 23) (or 2 nights for early departures)
- Transportation to seminar sites
- All entrances and tours
- All meals from breakfast, Thursday, May 21 through dinner Friday May 23 (including breakfast Saturday May 24 for late departures)
Fee examples:
- Participation in the Conference only, returning to Paris in the evening of May 21: 590 Euros
- Participation in the Conference only, returning to Paris the morning of May 22: 690 Euros
- Participation in the Conference and Field Seminar, returning to Paris the evening of May 23: 590 Euros + 465 Euros (Complete the Registration process twice: once fo the conference and once for the Field Seminar)
- Participation in the Conference and Field Seminar, returning to Paris the morning of May 24: 590 Euros + 570 Euros (Complete the Registration process twice: once fo the conference and once for the Field Seminar)
