Conference Dates: May 16 – May 18, 2022
Due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 and the disruptions it has caused for travel, the 15th Annual Global Partners in Education Conference will once again be offered online. We invite teachers, technical support personnel, students, and administrators from GPE partner institutions around the world to join us for this important knowledge sharing and networking event.
As recognized by the United Nations in the Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG 17), building inclusive partnerships and cooperation at the global, regional, national and local levels are essential for promoting prosperity amongst all peoples of the world. As the world struggles to re-open, strong international collaboration and cooperation is more important than ever. This is also true for GPE where we strives to offer programming that helps students develop cultural competencies and awareness necessary to thrive in today’s interconnected world. It is only through partnership and collaboration that we can achieve our collective goals. During GPEXV we will examine the concepts of partnership and collaboration as we discuss the role international collaboration and cooperation play in creating a harmonious and flourishing global society. We will also explore how to build this essential skill both amongst ourselves and our students as we discuss ways to improve existing GPE programming and develop / introduce ideas for new programming and initiatives.
Participants will be given the opportunity to share their research and best practices and will have opportunities to network with fellow participants to help further international efforts on their home campuses.
